The vision of Morocco Explorer was to create a comprehensive guide to Morocco, for foreigners and locals alike. A constantly growing resource, Morocco is your doorway into all things Moroccan. Owned and staffed by locals, as well as foreigners with in depth experience of Morocco, we are the only Moroccan website that delves deep into the heart and spirit of Morocco. We know our country, from both a local and an outsiders point of view, giving you a broader scope. Use Morocco Explorer to learn, make friends, and/or plan your future Morocco trip.
Morocco Explorer has four unique sections:
1) Discover Morocco - Here you can get travel tips on safety, food & health, visas, shopping and more, as well as learn about Morocco's unique history and culture. Browse Moroccan recipes or share some of your own. Shop for books about Morocco or tagine dishes and Moroccan decor.
2) Travel Destinations - Browse the various cities and towns of Morocco. Learn about their unique characteristics and the attractions to visit while there.
3) Speak Moroccan - Moroccans love when foreigners try to speak their language. Morocco Explorer offers lessons on Moroccan Arabic/Darija, the main spoken language of Morocco. Learn useful phrases to help you on your trip.
4) Friends of Morocco Community - Friends of Morocco is a community that connects people who all have one thing in common: they love Morocco. Join our community and make friends, share stories, photos, and travel tips, ask and answer questions.
